Prior to Oriden, Bill was the director of finance at EverPower where he played an instrumental role in the sale of EverPower’s portfolio of 750MW operating assets and 2.5GW development assets. He assisted the Company in securing over $650M in construction financing, private placements and term loans as well as over $25M in Pennsylvania state grants for alternative energy projects.
Bill began his career with Deloitte as an external auditor serving a variety of clients in manufacturing, energy and higher education.
Bill holds a Certified Public Accountant license in Pennsylvania and earned his B.S. from the University of Richmond.
Senior Director of Solar PV Engineering & Procurement
Kevin brings over a decade of operational experience in the solar industry where he has managed projects and engineering teams working projects on both the East and West Coasts. Kevin currently is developing Oriden’s design engineering team and managing procurement efforts.
Prior to joining Oriden, Kevin worked with small and large, residential and commercial solar EPC. He has been NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certified since 2013.
Kevin holds a B.S. in engineering science from Pennsylvania State University.
Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Founding Member
Prior to Oriden, Michael was senior manager of development at EverPower as well as working on the development team at Recurrent Energy, one of North America’s largest solar project developers. He brings significant project development expertise, with a focus on siting, interconnection, and power marketing, as well as late-stage experience financing, constructing, and commissioning solar projects. In his decade plus of renewables industry experience, Michael has played a leading role in delivering over a 350 MW of utility-scale solar projects to commercial operation across the United States.
Michael began his career with General Electric in its Energy Financial Services Group (GE EFS). While at GE EFS, he focused on both project financings and asset sales for projects across the energy spectrum.
Michael holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, and a B.S. in energy, business and finance from Pennsylvania State University.
Vice President, Business Development
Immediately prior to joining Oriden, Gary was a Project Executive at IEA/White Construction, an industry leading builder of wind & solar project throughout the US and Canada, where he provided executive level oversight on multiple large renewable energy construction projects. Prior to IEA/White Construction, Gary held various leadership positions at Everpower Wind Holdings, Inc. a renewable energy platform owned by Terra Firma Capital Partners, in both construction and development. After an early career in consulting engineering, Gary worked for various leading renewable energy companies including Zilkha Renewable Energy, the predecessor of Horizon Wind Energy and Atlantic Renewable Energy/PPM Energy predecessor organizations of Iberdrola Renewables (now Avangrid).
In his 20 years in renewables, Gary brings extensive engineering, development, and construction experience finding practical solutions to land/construction related challenges and leading the transition of late stage development assets in to construction. Gary has played a leading role in delivering over 600 MW of utility-scale projects to commercial operation across the US.
Gary has a BS in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a Veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Founding Member
Michael has nearly a decade of commercial energy industry experience including asset optimization, revenue modeling, RFP responses, and business development.
Prior to Oriden, Michael was the commercial manager of origination at EverPower where he was primarily responsible for PPA contract negotiation and long term power hedging activities. While at EverPower Michael was the commercial project lead on Baron Wind and Cassadaga Wind projects, which were successfully contracted with NYSERDA and several New England based distribution utilities respectively. Additionally, Michael was actively involved in all commercial activities for EverPower’s merchant generation fleet including, asset scheduling, hedging, asset optimization, settlements, and regulatory compliance.
Michael holds a BS from The University of Pittsburgh in both accounting and finance.
